Distinctive Stone & Concrete has served Syracuse and Central New York since 2002. The work is stamped concrete, broom-finish flatwork, driveways, pool decks, steps, firepits and floors, and the office sits on US-11 in Central Square.

Here is how we describe the way it gets built: all of our concrete is constructed with old-world practices. We reinforce our concrete with solid rebar and a minimum 4000PSI. The digging, the grading and the site work are ours too, so the job runs from bare ground to finished surface under one crew and one estimate.

Under the stamp

01Dirt workExcavation and site work come with the pour, start to finish. The base under a slab is part of the slab.
02SteelSolid rebar runs through the concrete, whether the finish on top is stamped or broom-finished.
03StrengthA minimum of 4000 PSI. That is the floor, not the upgrade.
04Old asphaltWe do not pour a new driveway over it. The old surface comes out, the base is prepared, then the rebar goes in.
05SealerStamped work is sealed against freeze-thaw, moisture, UV and de-icing salts. Reseal after the first winter, then about every three years. The rules for the first month are on the care page.
